Hi,

I was wondering if someone knew if it was possible to force a user with a
Roaming Profile, to use the Default Local Profile. So they keep all the
settings for printers etc. And if so how do I go
about it??

Thanks,

Russell

Russell,

I'm confused. Why would you give a user a Roaming Profile
if you want him to use a Local Profile? Somehow I thought
that giving him a Local Profile in the first place would fix
your problem?

I have computer labs which are used by various staff and students, these
workstations have basically read permissions only. Where the staff &
students have there own desktops and only use these computers during
classes.
It would be useful just to keep the profile local in these labs.

When a user with a roaming profile logs off a workstation, a copy of
the profile is cahced on the local hard drive.

Do your users use a default account to login at your labs?
