Hi,

I am going to be traveling abroad for a while and am hinking it would be
great to have an OS on a CD and e-mail software on a USB stick so that I
could use the CD to boot up someone else's computer wherever I am, plug
in the USB stick and do my e-mail. I need an OS hat can also handle
Chineswe, German, Japanese, and Russian, without messing up the
characters, and so I am thinking that Thunderbird might be a good choice
for the mail software.

Is this newsgroup the right place to getr information concerning my
requirements?
If not, which newsgroup(s) would you recommend I should post to?

TIA for leads and other advice!

Peter
