i'm trying to hide my email when making ng posts and am having trouble
finding it in th ehelp files

go under tools, accounts..., and highlight your mail account. click
properties and you can erase your email. i dont know if its the best way
but thats what i did

Presumably you mean to delete the email address in your news account. If you
deleted your actual email account you would not be able to send emails!
