outlook express wont receive mail

I am using win 98. outlook express 6. Cannot retrieve mail.
It use to work fine. I now get this message.
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'SBC Yahoo!
Mail-outoftown', Server: 'pop.prodigy.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I know this one. Goto your server and access your e-mail using explorer or
whatever. Then delete or save all the e-mail from the server that way.
Make sure its completly empty and then test your outlook by sending yourself
a test e-mail. It worked for me. I was running around in circles thinking
I had to re-install outlook but it was just a crappy e-mail I got.
