Euro currency symbol

when I try to send a message with the Euro currency symbol I get an error
message. Is there a way to get OE to accept this symbol? It seems to
accept other foreign symbols £, etc.

ctrl+Alt+4 gets a Euro symbol but it is often perceived better to put "EUR"
or simply "Euro(s)".

Also "Ł" sometimes comes out the other end as "$" so it can be better to put
"GBP" instead
