Becky2でのInsertMode

お尋ねします。カナダのRoshillと申します。

最近Becky2（英語版）に換えてみました。仕様は英語版ですが全て日本語版が
基本になっていると思います。このメーラのComporseをオープンしますと一番右下
に四つの箱と地球儀みたいな物が見えます。
この四つの内訳は空箱、AutoFmt、空箱、NUMとなっています。
以前のBecky1ではInsというのがあったのですがこれをBecky2にも加えるには
どうしたら良いのでしょう？それからもう一つの箱には何が入るのでしょう？

日本語入力はTwinBridgeという市販ソフトで、2バイトの@などの記号は、
キーで直接打つことが出来ないので一覧表を出し、マウスでクリック挿入と
いう方法で書いています。
Becky1からBecky2にしてからこのクリック挿入が出来なくなってしまいました。

Becky2にはこのIns(Insert?)が無い為にクリック挿入が出来ないのじゃないか？
と思っているのですが。

佐藤＠千葉市民です。

日本語のBecky!2.00.07 を使っています。
現在、右下に表示される”箱”は５つ。
左から順に、
空き箱　自動整形　空き箱　空き箱　地球
となっています。
キーボード上の"insert"キーを押すと、一番左の空き箱に
”上書き”の表示が現れますし、
普通に入力するとキー入力がそのまま挿入されますので、
デフォルトで insert モードになっているものと思います。

結局のところ、私は roshill さんの環境を再現させることはできないので
上記の内容以上の助言はできませんが、
外部エディタでメールを作成することで解決策にはならないでしょうか？

”ツール”
　＞　”全般的な設定”
　　＞”エディタ”
　　　＞”外部編集ツール”のところで、利用したいエディタを指定して
　　　　”自動起動”をチェックすることで常に立ち上がります。
最終的にはメールへコピー＆ペーストになるんですが。

こちらの newsgroup でもフォローがあると思いますが、Becky!の mailing list
の方がフォローがつきやすいと思いますのでそちらへ投稿されることをお勧めし
ます。　メーリングリストについては、ヘルプを参照ください。

Thank you for your replay, I am sorry but I have to write in English because of
my character changing soft "NNPT/Delegate" is not working.

After posted it, not even I can read, all words are ?????????
Now I wonder, How did you decord my crappy words?
I will work on "NNPT/Delegate" and will post in Japanese.

Since your Japanese enviroment are coruppsed, let me try to reply in
English.

I am Sato from Chiba Japan.

I am using Becky! 2.00.07 and win98SE.
The boxes I can see in the message window are five, that are:
"empty", auto format(in Japanese), "empty", "NUM", picture of earth
In case of my notePC, forth box is "empty". The default display of
4th box looks depending upon what type of keyboard PC is using.

When I hit the "insert" key, 1st, most left, box changes to "overwriting".
I can insert any key striking and paste under the default condition,
which is that 1st box is "empty". This means that the "empty" 1st box
shows "insert mode". May be it is Becky!2's spec.

It could be solution to use external editting program, when you compose a mail in
Japanese.
AT the main window:
>> Tool (tu-ru)
>> General preference(setting) (zen pan teki na settei)
>> editting program (edita-)
>> external editting program (gaibu henshu tu-ru)

Specify the editting program you prefer. (Default setting is windows notepad, I
think.) When you need to compose a mail in Japanese, as soon as click
the "compose", open new window, then click the external editting program,
which is small window of "tool", the editting program you specified will
show up. You can compose a mail using the editting program you
preferred.

Since I cannot duplicate your enviroment, the above is my best advise at
this time. I hope you understand my English.

By the way, I recommend to use Becky!2s mailing list instead of here.
You can find the mailing list at the end of the help. The following
site may help you.

"coruppsed" is mistake, it is very typo. "collapsed" or "out of work"
would be good.

This is my Japanese environment with English operation system.
The MView to read + The TwinBridge to write.
I changed newsreader FreeAgent to default in English, I can read my own Japanese
post with MView but some are still collapsed.

Are you in a Win98SE English version? If so, what kind of editor is used?
I have an another editor MS Global-IME, I only know what it is work with
Internet Explore and Outlook Express. Do you know MS Global-IME work with Becky2
and if it is, How?

Yes, so can I. However few codes such as @% etc..... are unable to type-in (out
of keys ^^;;) therefore I must open the code list from the Twinbridge, use a
mouse to click-in.

Yes, I tried this future although the TwinBridge is launched, Becky2 is not
recognized TwinB and spite out an error message to say that "Cloud not detect
the external editor started. Do you want try?"

Like you said, the final solution is may be make a code list with Notepad or
something, and Copy-Past into a post.

ところでまたNNTP/Delegateが使えるようになりました。
日本語でも投稿できます。

私のOSは日本語版で、英語版は持っていないので roshill さんの環境を
再現することは出来ません。　Global-IME を使う事で、Beckyに中国語やフラン
ス語を表示させることはできますが、入力するためには Global-IME 以外に入力
のためのソフトが必要になります。

ヘルプの中の「多国語サポート」の辺りを読んでみても何かヒントは得られない
でしょうか？

また、ヘルプの中で
「Windows2000をお使いの場合は、入力に必要なIMEは全て標準で付属しています
ので、多国語を使われる方は、ぜひWindows2000を導入される事をお勧めします。」
と書かれています。おそらくWindows2000（XP)の導入が一番の解決策なのでしょ
う。

いずれにしろ、”Ver.1 ではできたのに ver.2 にしてから、特定のコードの入
力ができなくなった、”ということですね。
ご使用の TwinBridge と Becky!2 との相性の問題なのかもしれません。この辺
りになると私の手には負えないのでメーリングリストへ投稿されることをお奨め
します。　メーリングリストについては作者の carty さんも見てますのでそち
らへ質問されてはいかがでしょう。

もともとの質問の右下の箱についてですが、左から順に
”上書き”、”自動整形”、”CAP”、”NUM”、地球
でした。

分かりました。そうします。

それにしてもBeckyかわいそうですね。
こんなりっぱなNewsGroupまで設備されているのに利用する人少ない。
日本でのBeckyの利用者かなりいると聞きます。ということは日本語では完全に近い
のでしょうかね。
こちらではその存在さえ知りません、私も友達に教えてもらいました。
