Greetings:
I'm trying to configure my "~/.Xdefaults" files to redefine my
function keys, for my "xterm" shells, using either XFree86 (Linux) or
OpenLook (Solaris). I here the syntax is basically the same, but in
either case, I do not know how to do this. I've read the "man" pages on
XTerm, but all they mention are configuring the initial resources not
specifically the key mappings. I've read in "Running Linux" (O'Reilly &
Associates) that I may need to get the book "X Windows System User's
Guide" (also by O.R.A.), but I think that would be "over-kill" for what
I would need. I've ordered this book anyways, but I figured I'ld ask
how others have done this. Could somebody please Email me a trimmed
down copy of their "~/.Xdefaults" file with function key definition
examples in it? Or atleast point me towards another accessable and
cost-effective resource?

Thank you for your time,
