Hello,

I'm trying to write an application that saves it's state using the resource-
mechanism. Now I've got a problem with tear-off menus. I figured out how to
decide, if a tear-off is activated or not and how to pop-down a tear-off. But
I can't find a way to initiate a tear-off manually. I tried _XmTearOffInitiate,
but it doesn't work.

Does anybody know how to manually tear-off a menu? I'm using Motif 1.2.3 and
X11R5.

Thanks in advance,

Peter
