Papers are solicited for a special issue of the {\it Journal of Parallel
and Distributed Computing (JPDC)} on Performance of Supercomputers,
to be published in October 1993.
\vspace{0.25in}

This issue will publish ten (10) regular papers (about 30 double-spaced
manuscript pages) and four (4) research notes (about 15 double-spaced
manuscript pages). Topics of interest include, but are not limited to

\item Performance Evaluation Techniques
\item Applications
\item Algorithms
\item Benchmarks
\item Parallelization Techniques
\item Programming Language Issues
\item Scalability Issues
\end{itemize}

Authors should follow the {\it (JPDC)} manuscript format described in the
``Information for Authors" at the end of each issue of the journal. Submit
five copies of a complete double-spaced manuscript to any of the co-guest editors.
Submissions must be received by no later than October 1, 1992. Authors will be
notified of the final publication decision by March 1, 1993.
