Could someone point it out where I can find some programs for
distributed computing in a heterogeneous environment? The program
should include job schelduling, using idle computer and datat
passing. All level of job control are welcome, assuming the
environment is running UNIX or alike.

Information leads to this programs are also appreciated.

Check PVM through net...@ornl.gov. The source comes with
examples in C and Fortran and PVM is designed to work in a
heterogeneous environment.
