I keep hearing about my fellow pcers in USA going on about HDs costing
this or that minus rebate. Im sick of hearing how they pay much less
than I.
Do the stores here do a similar kind of thing or not?
All I know is they do a points sytem with every purchase which is
great if the store doesnt close down just as you go to cash it in
(T-Zone).......

Yeah, I've paid my HD less than you !

Just like here. I've paid it in points...and they gave me 20% of the price
I didn't pay in other points. So the next minute, I bought a waffle maker,
also 20%, bought photo paper, also 20%, but I've decided to save the points
for next time ! (Lie : I couldn't carry more and the shop was closing !)

Don't ask me about all the useless gadgets I've bought before to get the
"points", the flat looks like a warehouse ! That's better if you never
enter the circle.

CC (shopping victim : I have 7 kg of kimchi this week.)
