Hello all. I'm heading off to Japan soon. I will be teaching
English. Does anyone know of schools in Okayama that need the help of
an English teacher? yours,

David

I'm going off on a nice ride in the countryside. Does anyone know of a
livery stable which will hitch a horse behind my cart?

Check out Dave's ESL Cafe (www.eslcafe.com/joblist) and ELTnews.com, as
well as ohayosensei.com. You might need to suck it up and go with a Nova
or other such school; I'd apply to the big chains just to have that
option open.

You *could* just show up and possibly find a job, but I've heard that's
pretty tough.

Why Okayama? Nothing wrong with it; personally I think it's a very cool
place. Just curious. Where abouts in Okayama will you be? If you have a
connection in one certain place, you might sretch out and look in other
cities; for example, if you were in the Eastern part of the prefecture
you could just as easily commute to Himeji to work.
