Well I asked Yahoo BB when they were getting a NewsGroup and they said
prob soon, that was last year and unless Im stupid they still dont
have one right?

Im fed up with using google to post messages.
I cant seem to find a free newsgroup that allows me to post via my
Outlook Express.
I tried these
news.uni-stuttgart.de
test.news.rcn.net
But when I try to post I get this:

Outlook Express could not post your message. Subject 'Re: Tombraider
2 was good.............', Account: 'news.uni-stuttgart.de', Server:
'news.uni-stuttgart.de', Protocol: NNTP, Server Response: '440 Posting
not allowed', Port: XXX, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 440, Error
Number: 0x800CCCA9

It says no posting allowed but it says posting allowed on the website.

http://news.cis.dfn.de/ has served me well for about two years now. You
have to register and they're a bit slow at replying. But it's free, fast,
and efficient.

I have had no luck with them whatsoever. I've tried to register three
or four times, and not once have they replied to me.

Yeah - sorry. After I'd posted I remembered that I was still waiting for a
'lost password' tech help reply from them - requested 12 months ago! It
took an extensive search of all the saved 'Inboxes' I have lurking in
various back-up directories to find the original username/password e-mail
they sent me. So NO - I can't recommend news.cis.dfn.de.

Woah. Now seriously. Now the server is refusing entry. What happened
to them?

FNH 303 Less Lethal Launcher HOT PRODUCT!!

The FN 303 is designed to be the premier system for situations
requiring less lethal response. Completely dedicated to reduced
lethality and liability, the basis of the FN 303 concept lies in its
ammunition. The .68 caliber, 8.5 g weight projectiles utilize a fin
stabilized polystyrene body and non-toxic bismuth forward payload to
provide both a more accurate, greater effective range than other less
than lethal weapons. The primary effect of the projectile is trauma,
which directly neutralizes the aggressor. In addition, secondary
effects from the projectiles can be delivered via a chemical payload
depending on mission requirements.

Is that what's responsible for the burst of repeat messages from you
today, or did you manage it yourself?

This is irony, or one of those other things my Sepponian origins
prevents from understanding.

About 3 a.m. I attempted to contact the very reliable server from the
University of Wienerschnitzel. I couldn't get a connection.

When I came home from work about 7 p.m. I managed to connect, but the
very reliable free server from UW showed only 2 new posts for
fj.romper.room.in-japan. Reading one of the new ones made it obvious
that I was missing some other posts, which I assumed got lost by the
server. None of the five messages that I re-posted appeared, so just
to be on the safe side (I wanted to make sure the OP learned about the
very reliable free server from UoW), I sent them again. But from your
comments, it would appear that the very reliable free server from UoW
*did* process the posts. Maybe someone at UoW has a personal vendetta
against me. Yes, that must be it. Because normally, their free server
is very reliable.

Try looking for their page on the net. They've changed to the
"news.individual.net" thingy I mentioned.

...except when they deliver messages over two days after they were
posted, such as yours.

But it is free and most of the time it's fast and efficient, and it also
filters out a lot of spam so I'm staying to it.
