OK then. Need help from someone who ACTUALLY has a B-flets connection
running from their computer through a router to their NTT optical whatsit
modem.

I believe that in fact that someone who's running a regular ADSL connection
from their computer through a router to the ADSL modem could also help me
out. In fact I further believe that if I managed to collect enough monkeys
and locked them in a room with my computer and a titanium plated keyboard
they too could eventually help me out!
