OK, the Kazaa substitute is a scam. I also found a report on the internet
which verifies the smelling rat...
Now I received an e-mail from someone who wants to sell me all kinds of
commercial software as "shareware". Adobe Photoshop can be "rented" for 30
days, 6 months, 1 year. Pay with credit card in US$, etc.

That's the first time I hear about this one. It reminds me of a software
rental shop in Tokyo over 15 years ago which rented CD-ROM software by the
day. As long as the shop was renting English programs (for several months),
nobody complained, but it couldn't sell NEC software for longer than a week.
The police ordered the closure of the shop.
If you have nothing else to do, have a look at this one:

Why the hell do I need Java Virtual machine to view a site this simple?
Actually why the hell Java need a virtual machine to begin with?

Nevermind, it seems pretty decent to me. Original brickwall bg, elegant
harmony of colors, gif animations, a list of software that can be "legally"
rented...

They couldn't get the background of "Save Money!" banner transparent but
they solved the issue painting it with the same pattern -but a lousy
doctoring I must remark here.

Yeah, it is decent, for a troll :) Excellent html skills from my fella
Nigerians.

PS: Rest assured, "Shopping with THEM is 100% Safe". -sex I guess?!?

We'll sell you pirated software for a fee?

Funny, I've never pictured Linicks users as people who would spend
money on software.

In fact, judging from their cases, (and the duct tape and twisty-ties holding
the cases together) I would say that the Linicks users that were at the
last Linicks lugfest I attended (for the PGP lecture) didn't spend any money
on their *hardware* either.

Most of them perhaps. But my maybellene runs on P4 2.4 2Gb Ram and 128Mb
Display adapter. She is one spoiled little queen :)
