The BBC http://tinyurl.com/qell reports Japanese supermarkets selling
vegetables specially cultivated for 'single' people. I just thought that
was a fetish category down at the local pRon video rental store.

Yes, that's not new. In deluxe department stores, they have them most of the
year, at local ones only at present season. They often ask 10 000 yen for
one, and that's an ordinary watermelon except that shape.
