Any ideas/suggestion as to why a non-mtd device (Fortezza Crypto Card)
would be recognized as a PCMCIA MTD-0002 with a some chipsets and not
others?
On a Win2K or NT system, Ricoh R5C476II and TI PCI1225 sees the
Fortezza card card as a PCMCIA MTD-0002, not as a Fortezza Crypto
Card. Even if I load new fortezza drivers, it still doesn't work.
If I use a different vendors reader with a TI1225, it is properly
recongnized and the card is functional.
BIOS on the systems have been updated and the problem is only
exhibited on some systems and not all.
Even if I load new fortezza drivers, it still doesn't work.

thanks

This is a typical symptom of CIS reading problem (either hardware or software).
