Hi

Does anyone know of any software that will allow me to get a live feed
on to my laptop from my Canon G1?

Thanks

Aloha Friends --

I have a question -- I have just purchased a SONY DSC-F717 -- it is
TERRIFFIC!

I have a problem/question -- I have a seldom used flash from my Sony
Mavica, just fine and as good as new -- it is designed to use a cold
shoe and plug into a socket on the mavica. My new camera has a hot
shoe -- is there any sort of adapter that can be placed in the hot
shoe and accommodate the good old flash?

Thank you for your attention

Your 717 should have an ACC plugin... look around. Also, join us @
www.SonyCams.com sometime. Many 717 shooters there.

The canon comes with its own software. Your camera should have come with a
installation CD. Did it? If not you can download it from canon's website.
I think you will need the original CD because it is the upgrade. Anyway
once you have the program uploaded simply plug your camera in and when the
computer recognizes it push ignore, or cancel which ever gets you our of
that program. From there you will be taken to a program (automatically)
called File Viewer Utility. Once there click on the camera or memory card
icon (it should be the first one) then click on remote shoot. Have fun and
if you need any more assistance please ask. All I use is canons.
