Hi,

Capstan motor in my sony DCR-TRV350 camcoder is not working - that's
what Sony service told me.
I'm looking for places where I can buy a new one and how much will it
be.
I'm from Europe, and this type of camera uses American standards,I
bought it there, so I can't order it at my place.

On LCD screen I have some error code(I think):
C:32:10 and before was C:32:30
Where can I find what does it mean? I'm also looking for some
documentation about fixing and working of digital camcoders.

Thank you!

Could be capstan controller IC crook, or could be servo ic. Could even be
something totally unrelated like a door switch or mode switch and thus the
main micro will never go into a play mode.
Are you a technician? Have you worked on this stuff before? If not, then
*don't* attempt it. I'm a tech and unless you're trained on this stuff, then
you'll never understand the service manual anyway.
I think the unit you mention is 8mm - which means that the mech is very
flimsy and impossible to setup without test jigs. Trust me, I gave up
repairing cameras a long while ago - they're a damn pain.
