VIRUS WARNING -- Time stamps on pictures

When I tried to open the posting "Time stamps on pictures" from stm, my
Norton Virus software found the js.Fortnight virus attached.

Tip: always disable (Java)scripts in e-mail or news.

Thanks for pointing that out, Don

I have JScript disabled, so my computer didn't pick it up when I opened the
message. But if I try to save and open on my computer, AVG shows it as
JS/Fortnight too.

In Outlook Express 6 (which I see you are using), click Tools, then Options,
then on the security tab, then check the Restricted sites zone box. OF
course, you also should make sure you have your anti-virus program up to
date and that you use Windows Update to download fixes for the very
vulnerabilities that some of these viruses - scripts and Active X controls -
try to exploit.

Nothing Ticks me off more than a moron who attaches a Virus to a news group
thread.
