looking for an new camera

Right now I have a Sony F505 It has 2.1 megapixels and is about 3 yrs old.
It takes forever to take a picture...i.e. once you take it you have to wait
for it to be ready to take another picture... even longer if you are using
the flash. They must be faster now??? I am in the market for a new
camera... doesn't matter which brand... please recommend... I love taking
pictures and printing them out. I am more brave with the digital as once I
look at them, if I don't like them I don't print them. Please recommend a
camera and let me know why you like it..

Yeah, I suppose there are those rare cases when you don't get a lemon from Sony.
It /is/ indeed rare though. BTW, what other cameras have you owned?

I'm really high on the Olyumpus C series. I have a C720 that I love. If were
buying today I wouild think about the C750.......which very honestly may be
overkill for my use. I'm limited to 8X10 on my printer........so 4 megs maybe
more than I need.
