Is there a direct connection between megapixels and printer dpi &
resolution. in other words is a 4800 optimized dpi printer capable of
the very best print from a 5 megapixel camera with an 8x10 or a 16 x 20
enlargement by Kinkos.
Please e-mail me direct

Hermgerm:
If you have your camera set at the highest resolution, especially a 5
megapixel camera, you should have no problem enlarging your picture to 8x10.
I have a 3.1 megapixel and enlarged a photo to 8x10 and it came out
beautiful. I don't know about a 16x20 but you should be able to get great
results up to probably 11x14. As for your printer, if you have photo paper
with photo ink and have it set at the best print quality your printer should
do excellent pictures.
Hope this helps!
