Olympus 550 Dark Picture??

I took a picture today and when I looked at my pic through the
view finder it was not clear/bright. The picture was dark. You could
barley see the picture. You had to tilt the camera back and forth to see
it at all. But it was Dark.... Weird.. I have had this camera for 2
years and this is the first. Have I changed something in my settings?
The Flash worked fine. The other pictures I took 3 days ago looked
fine..
You have any Ideals what it might be?

Were you in bright sunlight this time and not befor? I find even with
an LCD viewfinder that in sunlight I can barley see the image. It's
eve worse with an LCD screen. The brain changes our vision and looking
at a dim image with one eye will not cause the eye to compensate from
a bright light situation.

Hi Dave...

Did the flash fire?

Have you inadvertantly tampered with the +/- EV settings and
told the camera to go -2 stops?
