hey, Any1 know if the canon A60 has Webcam abilities with the software that
is included?

I asked canon this question ref ixus 300 d and the answer is no

The a70/a60 come with remote capture software which brings up the camera on
screen and I'm sure you could use it as a webcam with a simple software
application, but I read somewhere that the heat build up might cause
damage - they're not designed for continuous use. Best to buy a webcam
which is only a tenth of the price of a canon or less !!
