Has anyone successfully configured Fixity’s email settings to work with the Google API?
I’ve been trying very hard to get this set up, but it is not working for me. It seems that Google disabled their Less Secure App Access feature back in May 2022, and when I try to set up an app password for Fixity to use to access Google, that doesn’t seem to work either.

Dear Marina,
Thanks for writing! Ugh; I’m sorry you are experiencing frustration over the same problem. No, I never found a way to solve this. I checked in with AVP and they could not give me a solution. I think that their suggested pathway is something which Google decided to disable a few years ago, but at the moment, my memory is not serving me to recall all those details. Our university IT department was unwilling to create an email account without MFA that I could have used for this, so I simply gave up.
