My name is Mark. One day whilst i was bored at work i decided to make
a football predictions spreadsheet in excel, i imported the data from
football365 and combined it with the prices and fixtures from coral
bookmakers. it was basically a crude attempt to see if i could
predict games accurately by looking at the statistics - unforunately
at the end of the 2006/7 season it looked like i failed but i did have
a lot of stats on which to improve my system. (certain areas were
only about 5% down and better returns can be found by taking best
prices at other bookmakers - this was ran for paper purposes)
Basically i do enjoy gambling and i think realistically professional
gamblers are only making 15% profits (15% exponentially adds up over a
season), i do not believe these ads for guaranteed systems with 90%
success rate and therefore i refuse to give them my money. I pressume
there are other people out there like me and so i would like to get a
group together to look at the info i have collected and use it to
build a better system or highlight strategies.
If you have wondered what would happen if you always bet on the elite
teams to win, or relegation teams to lose then you can work this out
from the spreadie. It covers all english and scottish leagues plus
patchy italian, french and spanish leagues. It does not have 100% of
games, just where i had time to run the spreadie but it is over 3000
results.
I am NOT looking to make money out of anyone other than from the
bookmakers. this is the first time i have set up a group so if anyone
has any questions, please just ask me. if you feel we could work
better together, please suggest things.
Unfortunately i do not appear to be able to upload the file to this
group, therefore if you are interested please contact me and i will
email you the file. It is a little crude at the moment but all
results are summarised in 1 excel file which is 22mb in a compressed
folder (87mb normally).
I am not looking for specific people with specialised talents, just
people with the time and interest in the subject that are willing to
work together.
