Groups/rides and more

I'm moving to New Zealand from the UK in January and I'm a avid
cyclist. Currently living in London I have taken advantage of the
flatness so I have a fixed single speed converted Colnago. I will
also be bringing my mountain bike for obvious reasons. I have no
definate plans as to where I'm going and where I might permanently
live. Just out for an explore. I will initially be landing in
Auckland but I would be most grateful if anyone could recommend places/
trails, groups or social rides or other forums for riding in NZ. I am
a member of LondonFGSS which is a fairly big community of
couriers,bike enthusiasts et al. If anyone wants me to bring some
bits over give us a shout before Jan.
