For those of you who aren't following this on Crap's twitter stream:

Crap will be having elbow surgery tomorrow. He'll be overnight in hospital before surgery. 

Last tweet I saw was his phone was dying...

wow.  Looks like I missed a lot last night.  These are the times where I really wish we could TP in RL.  I wish there were more I could do from a great distance other than say feel much better soon.

Some people are traveling and don't have computer access and they can stay connected this way.

Fine way to mess up your weekend, Crap - at least there's the consolation that, since it's your elbow and not some other part of your anatomy, you get the full joy of hospital food. Not to mention the potential of joining those of us who, thanks to fracture fixes, can truly claim to have a loose screw. :-)

Crap's surgery could be tomorrow or even Tuesday. His mother-in-law will be there tomorrow to bring him computer, books & clothes. The baby panthers are being cared for by some folks in his apartment complex

You can ask for the gift shop, and they will patch you over.

Crap is in the Jones Pavillion, Room 605.

No helium for balloons today, but they do have a lovely assortment of stuffed toys, I was told.

There is a shortage of helium, so I'd prefer that it be used for serious purposes such as superconductors, medical devices, blah blah than toys.

But ty nonetheless.
