Y’all still out there? Sent to a friend and this address popped up.

> Good Thursday morning! Looking forward to us getting to enjoy it again at famous Mike’s!
>
> The proverb from today Proverbs 16 reminds me that if we commit our activities to the Lord our plans will be established. This reminded me of having Responsibilities for each role I play (husband father friend employer Advisor....) And that there is a way to honor those responsibilities as I am honoring my commitment to the Lord. Many of the verses remind me of value of humility and many warnings on pride. Verse 31 refers to the “Glorious crown” ;).... And another reminder of how good it is to be patient.

> I have liked some of Tim’s material (it seems he and others use profanity for shock factor ?) how simple and functional much of his writing is. This was shared recently and I did like the morning and evening simple journaling exercise ( page 14). I am not yet on board with switching from coffee however :)

I like that. How have all of you been? I miss the morning runs, those were the best! Stay safe everyone!

Fellas!

I’m still doing 5 miles a few times a week. Just not at 0500. Running by myself is not nearly as fun as running with you guys.

Hope you all are well!

Wow…this still works!

I have been reading the chapter in Proverbs that corresponds with the date. Highly recommend. That Solomon was a wise dude!

I started back running about a month and half ago. It’s been good to get back on the road.

Hope all is well with you guys!

Wow. How long ago was our group? It is one of those things that feels like 4-5 years ago but was much longer. Just wait til you get my age.

I miss the accountability and fellowship for sure.

Running is more sporadic. Had a good one yesterday so that was encouraging. It was more like 2.5 at 3:30.

Miss you guys! I slowly trot about 2-3 miles a few times a week with the baby stroller. Miss having friends!  Still haven’t found a group of guys like y’all!

Blessings,

Those were good times. Long distance running is still a struggle but it was a lot more enjoyable back then.
Thanks for the good reminder!

I echo that Kiker. Looking back I realize what an awesome group this was and how far and few between it is to find another one in this next chapter of life that I’m in.

I don’t think I’ve run since JD and I struggled through our annual half marathon back in December. Looking forward to doing that again and looking forward to getting back to running the Publix half since they moved it away from the weekend of my sons birthday.

Hope y’all are well.
