Gina Rose Montalto Hello everyone: My heart aches due to the passing of Gina Rose Montalto a 14 year old young lady who was a victim of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas ! While all the tragic shootings are a sad commentary of today’s society, Ginas passing hit close to home because she was the niece of our friend Luke Sherlock , who was my teammate as well as a great member of North Miami Beach and FIU Water Polo Clubs. Luke is an important member of our water polo family. Luke was also a teacher and a very successful water polo coach at Barbara Goleman High School where many of you learned to play water polo with him ! Lukes sister was Ginas Mom and as you can imagine the entire family has been very affected by the tragic event.
