Hi all,

I've used fityk software to fit my spectral lines and used WSSR relation to measure the goodness of fitting, but I need to know the equation of WSSR with its meaning for their parameters to add in my thesis, as I need to know the difference between the value of FWHM and Int. width.
Note: I applied Lorentzian function for this fitting and fityk Version 0.9.8

Regards,
Nagham

Hi Nagham,

WSSR: see http://fityk.nieto.pl/fit.html

FWHM: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Full_width_at_half_maximum

Integral width = peak area / peak maximum
(at some point I realized that it's more often called "integral
breadth" and I renamed it in fityk)
