Hi,

So far I have to say I love the APP!!!! Just what I was looking for to complete Runnkeeper.

The only think I would like to see would be for each pair of shoes upto 4 different activities that I can assign to them. And example would be
1) NB Shoes
     - Default
     -Walking
     -Running

2) NB Bike shoes
     -Cycling
     -Other

Than when the activity comes up it is auto assigned by activity. If no acivity matches a shoe than the default is used.

Would also like to have a way to set up activities that I know I do not want to track shoes on at all. This way if I do rowing no shoe is assigned at all.

Thanks

Gene

Hi,
I had the same issue. My running shoes were per default assigned to my swimming activities, also my skating activivties.
The answer I got was not really helpful, but clear to understand:

I can think about how best to implement that, Anke! I'm trying to keep things simple, though; I'll have to figure out a way that doesn't lead to it being overly complicated for users to set up, the far majority of whom won't use the different-shoe-per-activity-type functionality.

I'll get this done sooner rather than later in the shoe tracker -- it's a logical thing to add, but finding time to make and test the necessary changes is hard right now (new kid!). Maybe later this week...

Hello, I just found this app and it is EXACTLY what I have been looking for.  From what I am seeing here, if I set my running shoes to my default (as I have now done) then any bike/elliptical/etc that I record via runkeeper will also get added to my running shoes?

I would love to be able to set the default to only add miles from "running" activities.  I guess in the mean time I might just make a pair of shoes called "other" and then add {other} to the comments so that it will get routed to this fake pair of shoes and not my running shoes.

I'd love to set this up -- it's actually on the to-do list, but unfortunately, I need to find the time to do the work.

Rest assured it'll come in the not-too-distant future!
