Hi,

When I download a list of activities used in each shoe (http://fitness.queso.com/shoetracker/download-shoe-activity-export.hg), the unit used in the CSV file is miles, while my Runkeeper preference is kilometers (and through the rest of the (great!) Shoe Tracker app this is used correctly.

Kind regards,

Arjo

Arjoo, this was more or less by design -- I figured that I should be consistent in what's exported so that if people write utilities based on depending on this input, the input won't vary based on a user's preferences. But I can see how it might be useful to have your configured preference govern the units in the mileage... let me think about this. Shouldn't be hard to do, obviously...

Ofcourse, I was more thinking of people having their own spreadsheets
using the data (and expecting it to be consistent with their
preferences) than fully automated utilities..
It might be an idea to be the default be the same as the user's
preferences (which an automated utility could also retrieve from
Runkeeper) and creating an option (querystring?) to request a specific
unit?

Ok -- the former is done, the exports are now in your preferred distance. I don't know if anyone's using anything automated to get the data, though, so I'm holding off on the latter...
