Hi all,

I'm trying to add the queso Fitness Widget to my wordpress.com blog (not confusing this with wordpress.org),  because Wordpress.com does not allow third part 'code' in it widget section. If you try and add it, via the text widget, you blanks it out.

Does anyone know of a way round this, or if a Wordpress.com widget will be brought out for the Fitness Widget?

So far as I know, there isn't any way for a third-party to produce a widget for hosted WordPress (wordpress.com) sites; the only widgets that are provided are those that the WordPress folks themselves author. So this is more a question for them....

It would be great if RunKeeper and/or Queso can create a wordpress.COM compatible badge like MyFitnesspal (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/badges). Wordpress.COM cannot run Javascript code which is why the current widgets don't work.

Alas, that's not on the agenda for me — this was an app that scratched a specific itch for me, and building an entire other branch of it to generate a static image isn't something I'd like to take on at this point.
