Hello,
The Bay Area Association for Behavior Analysis has held an emergency quorum concerning the current rate cuts enacted on March 31st. We are trying to gather data in order to more effectively communicate the depth of impact resulting from these cuts. Please help us, yourself and your consumers by answering the following questions. We will compile this data in communications to our FABA lobbyist as well as our legislators.
1) How many employees/contractors has your agency lost as a result of these cuts? How many quit versus how many laid-off?
2) How many clients have been directly impacted by a loss of supports or programs?
3) What is the financial impact for your business (represented by estimated gross receipts lost during this 3-month emergency period)?
4) Would your business survive if the current rate structure is sustained?
5) How many employees(or contractors) does your business have?
6) How many consumers (of Medicaid Waiver funding) does your business serve?
It is important that you answer these questions and respond quickly, as this week is crucial for the legislative session. Please continue to call and write your legislators. It is making a difference.
Thank you,
