Thanks Jodie, I got it to work. I'm not doing very
well at getting to the gym....I need some postive talk
to help get me motivated to go.....my mental state
hasn't been very good the last week. Any suggestions?

Hey Heather and All,

I still can't edit my stuff...any ideas?

Heather...I have discovered this magazine...Real Simple. It is
wonderful! A friend of mine has gotten us all to read it and actually
subscribe. I have never done that before so I was a bit hesitant as to
whether or not I'd actually read it. I do and love it. Gav is a big
fan of the receipes in it:) And was even reading the other day how to
keep your skin from being so dry in the winter...don't tell him I told
all of you that! :) They have had some really good stuff on
motivation, moods, empowerment...here is the link to a recent article

Gav helped me to figure it out so no worries...I'm putting my bonus
miles in under Sunday since there isn't a bonus column, hope that's
ok...how are other's doing that? E

I put "+2" or whatever the bonuses are. I think I did this at the last
workout of the week. Do ya'll think we should still post what we're doing
under discussions? I think it's good to see what everyone else is doing.
Not to "check in" on others, but to maybe get ideas or get inspired.

I like to look at my time at the gym as "me time." You know we moms
don't get much of it, so I take a magazine or a book and read while I
work out. I really look forward to that time of not thinking and just
doing something good for me, my body (and baby Carys, right now). If
you have anyone you think might possibly be a workout buddy, that
helps, too. For a while, my associate pastor and I were working out
together, and she and I would chat and vent about our jobs and the
time just flew by. I hate to say it, but knowing how I'm going to
look if I workout was a great motivator, too. After having Gracie, I
started mainly because I was completely exhausted. But after losing a
few pounds, I saw it as a great motivator (and my 10 year reunion was
coming up, too). I know that is not what should motivate us strong,
beautiful women, but it doesn't hurt. I'm sure you need the "Heather
time" right now, so maybe that's what you should go with. :D I hope
this helps, girl.
