Hi All,
Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing...

I had a really bad week last week...work was horrible so I didn't work
out at all...I'm back on track now.
The weather is so nice here lately that it's been nice to be able to
get outside.

Not sure where things ended up with group names and such:-)

Hey, everyone. I hope everyone is having a good week this week. I'm sorry
you had a bad one last week, Emily. Sorry, too, that I haven't been helpful
with coming up with a team name. My brain is kinda stretched thin lately,
so I doubt I'll be much help for a while. I'm working out when I feel like
I have the energy, or that it will give me some. I was exhausted yesterday,
but I really felt that yoga class would give me some energy, and it did! I
felt better after it than I have in a long time.

Gracie's had strep throat and has been on steroids (her tonsils are HUGE),
and she's been having at least two meltdowns a day (really just crying and
being very clingy - not like her). I call it her "'roid rage." We finished
them today, so I'm hoping she'll be back to her old self soon.

I had a lovely baby shower on Saturday. Kathy, my mom and my sis threw it
for me. As soon as I have some pics, I'll post 'em. I still want to hear
from Linz about how her's went. If she's like me, her little one surely
won't need any clothes for a while.

I'm still only 1 cm dilated, but as much as I'd love to have this child
soon, I want to wait until spring break. My legs are extremely swollen, and
my hands swell off and on (my blood pressure's been good, though). I look
quite funny (people are starting to just point and laugh at me now, which is
a great feeling). Because I'm basically all belly, I look like a large ball
is stuffed under my shirt. A two year-old at Gracie's school actually
asked, "Why ya got a ball under there?" :D Oh, and the belly button is
sticking out, and it's noticeable and kinda creepy. But, I'm blessed with
good help, great family and a wonderful husband who takes care of me, so I'm
doing well. I hope the same is true for everyone else.

My shower was great also.  I don't have any pictures, but someone does.  I am good on clothes and blankets.  This child has no excuse to be cold.  The best was a blanket that my mom had made for me by a past secretary of hers, over ten years ago!  And she says she is always late and last minute.  If you notice the time this email is sent, it is about 4 Am on Monday.  After an hour of tossing, I decided to pay bills.  I've been up for an hour and I think I'll go back to bed for a while.  We have most of our house work done, and we are cleaning fast.  The plan is to clean fast, then hurry up and sleep, and wait for a baby.  I am very swollen in one leg.  I will be happy when that is over.  I will find out today if I am dilated or not.  Thanks to everyone who has sent gifts and well wishes, we are good to go!  Keep me updated.
