Goals, Team Names, etc.

Hey ladies!

 

Have you named yourselves (teams)?  Taken your personal measurements?  Are you logging?  Setting goals? 

 

I have had a bad couple of weeks, but hope to get back on the wagon.  My team isn't named yet, but we'll crack the whip this week, won't we Lindsey and Heather...!?!?!?

 

Team names and goals by the last day of February - that's a week from today.

Thanks for the reminder Pam!

We're working on ours...so you should be seeing something soon. How
will we post these? Just like the spreadsheet but each team will have
their own page??

I forgot how much it stinks to take your measurements:)

Let's see what's going on in MN this week...
I'm going to buy a bike in the next month and start biking when it
gets warmer and I'm signing up for a 5k in March with some girlfriends
here so that will be fun...it must be great for all of you guys to
have a buddy close by...or with you Cheryl being able to get in a few
walks with Heather in UT! I'm jealous.

I'm off to WI this weekend to visit family while Gavin is off to visit
Chris in So. IL.

Work has settled down a bit but I've been working on completing my
grad school application. I decided to go back again...there is a new
program at the U of MN. It's a Doctor of Nursing Practice program. My
focus would be public health and I could have it completed in 1-1.5
years. We will see...not sure if I'll even get in but it's worth a
try.

Hi Em!

 

You definitely should go for the Doctoral program - I would love to have done this, but never found the right time.  Who knows, maybe I'll still do it after I retire!  (I think they give old people lower course fees!)

 

Since I've not taken the time to mess around much with the website, I hadn't thought about how to post our team names, goals, etc.  I was just going to compile them and send out as an attachment to everyone.  I bet one of you website gurus will be able to do better than that though!

 

Don't be too jealous of our partnering - Lindsey and I haven't done anything together - bad weather, bad work, etc.  Hopefully we'll do more in the spring - if nothing else, I'll walk with the baby while Lindsey runs.

 

Hope you have a good weekend with family in WI!  Great to hear from you as always.

I don't know how my luck happens, but in a very round about way, I am getting a brand new jogging stroller for free.  Its a long story, but since you had offered yours to me, I thought that maybe since you are working out so much, you might want to hang onto yours anyway.  So, whether I use it for running or not, my mom can walk with the baby.  Anyway, we don't need to figure out how to get it here.  Thank you anyway.  Wow, I just proofread this email and it is full of incorrect run-on fragment sentences.  Oh well.  Anyway, keep up the good work!
