Just like Heinrich says, it's the Moonlight, by Debussy. Except that the actual title is Clair de Lune.
I bought a $70 music box a few years ago with this song in it because I loved it from the movie. @_@ Aheh.

Hi I am also looking for that beautiful piece of music! It is the most enchanting piece I know and right now in Ireland Playstation 2 advertisements on t.v. are using a modernised version of it please let me know if you found its title. I thought it was by W/Vagner Moonlight or Midnight or something like that.

I think neither "clair de lune" nor "Quasi una fantasia" are the right ones. Or I didn't get the whole ones at midi here. But I think there wasn't the part that the box played in the movie. I would be very thankful if someone post a link to the right midi or mp3 file here.

it is 'clair de lune' from debussy's 'suite bergamasque' for piano. the mp3 file linked above sounds different from the music in the film because the tempo and music box sound are different, but they are the same piece. 'clair de lune' by debussy is listed in the credits, and like someone posted, pitt's character says the title in the film.
