Pipestone Returns from Atlantic City...

He doesn't say anything to anyone, even is asked directly and he goes into Kusanagi's room and talks to his wife and son. (I don't know how they will react, they are NPCs under Ben's control, but I will tell them that Kusanagi is dead and that he died saving an Archangel who was healing abyssal wounds that stemmed from a tower being built by the First Selesti).
Pipestone then asks everyone to come to the living room, ghosts included. He stands for a long moment and then slowly says, "Kusanagi is dead. Here we are again. Congratulating the warriors mages who fight and die. Trying to find meaning in death. I can't. I've had a long car ride from Atlantic City and after a lot of crying I'm still left with an empty feeling where Kusanagi used to be. And I guess I'm supposed to be happy that he died fighting the good fight. I'm not. There is not one mote of solace in the fact that he's gone because he did the right thing. His 19 year old son is fatherless. 'Buck up kid. He died well. He can't teach you anything more. He's gone. But damn it was a good death. Now find someone else to teach you about being a dad. Or what it means to grow old.'"
Pipestone then smashes his fist into the floor. At the last second he drops all his buffs and armor and his strength 7 punch is suddenly a very normal mortal arm. Bones in his hand snap. Almost instinctively, Pipestone melds into a bear and roars in pain. But not so much from the broken hand, but from the ache from losing his cabalmate.
Pipestone as the bear with a broken paw runs out of the house. Before he leaves the shelter of the sanctum and it's demesne, he changes into a "mutt" and limps away as fast as he can.

Spooky listens to Pipestone's speech and watches him break his hand and run off alone. She closes her eyes and leans a hand against her forehead.
"I don't know," she finally says (to whoever is there-I am not sure), "I don't know. It feels like the end times and all I am is tired."
Eventually, she will head into Kusanagi's lab and start plundering around.

Sigh.. ( looks to spooky ) ill speak to his family . I don't know their wishes. If they want a stone here at the house , or back home..

It's a curse to be awaken I think. ( again not speaking to anyone in particular ) we play this mad game until our little hearts can't bear another second. Then and only then are we free.

Kusanagi's wife will pale as she is told and then ask to be left alone
to mourn. His son will ask a few questions including if there is a
funeary event planned, but will be showing a strong front and then say
he has to go out to do some errands, not returning till very late.
OOC:
I never really RPed the pair much while Nagi was alive, so I don't
have a great grip on their characters. Due to the emotional nature of
this event, I will have them withdraw and then in a few days decide
that it is time for them to move on and leave.
