Hi IOD Fleet Captains…….Time to think about what your sailing agenda for 2024! As usual Bermuda will be having our annual Bermuda Race Week. This year the tentative dates will be May 6^th – May 10^th 2024. This will mean a Monday start to our racing and no lay day. The change in protocol has been impacted by Sail GP which will be held in the Great Sound on May 4^th & 5^th 2024. Your designated participant from your fleet may want to arrive early enough to be able to watch the Sail GP racing! For those of you that have come to the regatta before you know the quality of the sailing and the enjoyment of meeting the members of the other IOD fleets and our hosts. The deadlines for commitments by the fleets are as follows: Commitment to send a representative from your fleet to Bermuda International Invitational Race Week must be sent to us by November 15^th 2023. A named participant needs to be sent to us by November 30^th 2023. I ask for these deadlines to be met so the Bermuda Fleet can plan accordingly for the regatta.
