SETTING describes the place, time and environment.

In this discussion group you will be analyzing the characters in your story. Use SETTING ELEMENTS to guide you in analyzing the setting in your story. 

Making a setting come to life is all about descriptive details make sure you include sensory details when describing the setting in your story.

 When you respond to this discussion post, respond using descriptive details to the following questions:
    1. Place - Location where the story takes place.
    2. Environment - describe the location.
    3. Time - when the story is happening.



When you respond to other's postings, you should consider -

  1. How did you interpret the setting differently?
  2. What did you find interesting that your group member brought up that you didn't consider?
  3. What do you agree or disagree with?  (Remember if you are disagreeing - you need to respect that person's post/comment and state what you saw differently and why)
REMINDER - you must respond to at least one other students posting. Make sure you are wearing your WINGS when responding to other's work.

This story takes places at Amy's house . During the story it's
Christmas/Christmas Eve and Amy is ashamed of her culture. This takes
place during Christmas.

The story Fish Cheeks takes place at Amys house. It is Christmas eve
at that time. I think the story is taking place a couple days before
Christmas eve and Christmas eve.

In the story Fish Cheeks I think the setting in the story is Christmas
Evening.It is christmas evening because Amy's family has a family come
over for dinner on christmas and usually most american familys have
dinner in the evening.

I agree with you Malia. Maybe next time you could add more detail on
what is was like at Amy's house .But other than that you did good.

This stories setting is at Amy's house. it is happening on christmas eve at dinner. it takes place at the dinner table when they are eating.

Yes I agree with you brandon that it took place at Christmas but add
details about the Atmosphere like was it happy or sad or what
