I think that the plot of the story fish cheeks is that Amy has a crush
on the Ministers son and when she finds out that her family invited
the Ministers family to dinner on Christmas Eve and she feels very
worried and embarrassed because of the things and ways her family does
things and she is afraid that after the Ministers family has dinner
with them the Managers son will not like her anymore since she is
Chinese, but she later she then realizes that she should like being
different and unique and not wanting to be like everyone else.
