A variable schedule of reinforcement, as many of you know, is when the subject is reinforced randomly when the behavior is offered. It isn't generally used while the behavior is being learned, rather, it's useful once the behavior is established. It tends to produce a stronger response. I've used it with great success to train birds and mammals.

I'd like to know if anyone has used VR with fish.
