The diet of the fish is one of the more critical factors in disease prevention/resistance

With so many brands of fish food, many claiming to be the best or have others claiming to be the best, what are the facts?

The facts are while many brands do indeed use quality ingredients, these foods still have to supplement and there processing of the food cooks out many vitamins.
As well most do not optimize/limit proteins, resulting in premature kidney failure in fish fed these diets.
Many popular foods from Repashy, New Life Spectrum, Omega One, and many more are guilty of this

For truly the best prepared food, consider AAP Premium Custom by Clay Neighbors (inventor of the Paradigm formula, but better for protein optimization)

This is definitely an important topic, as sellers with questionable knowledge and history dealing with fish disease promote fish foods that while good with good ingredients, but have questionable nutritional optimization, which could eventually result in lower disease resistance.

One such seller that has become popular among the cut and paste internet crowd is NorthFin, but please do your research into this food, as it is not the top notch food it claims to be, including in energy and protein optimization.

A better choice is the AAP Custom developed by fish food guru Clay Neighbors
