key Responsibilities:
Efficiently ensures availability of the right parts in the right quantity at the right time to support the Plant Spartanburg production program and TS (Material Planning) targets as they align to Plant Spartanburg goals.
• Performs basic data processing and parameter administration in the Material Planning system.
• Supports on-going series production, parts run-in and run-out, and processing of technical changes. Within this scope is the minimization of obsolescence costs.
• Maintains and analyzes monthly Supplier rating and yearly SUMIS (Supplier Management Information System) rating information.
• Initiates corrective actions with Suppliers and required escalations.
• Trains new hires and interns.
• Controls supplies and stock by timely planning the correct quantity of parts, while at the same time optimizing the stock on hand.
• Participates in the development of Supply Chain Quality tools for ongoing Supplier Performance development.
• Participates in the Logistics Process Analysis (LOPA) or VA 4.1.9 (BMW Group Quality Management Procedure) including Supplied Parts Quality Management (SPQM) launch readiness checkpoints.
• Participates in problem solving for supplier development, and optimization of the supplier process chain.
• Participates in TS projects, or projects led outside TS.
• Acts as permanent contact to Procurement, Engineering and other Logistics departments.
• Acts as a contact to all suppliers and carriers, logistics association, and institutions.
Qualifications:
B) Experience: 2 years of related professional experience in Material Planning including Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
1-3 years of experience in material control and production control management.
C) Training: As applicable, per BMW training guidelines.
Education:
BS/BA degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or International Business with German concentration or related discipline.
Discipline:
Intermediate = communication skills both verbal and written German language skills (preferred)
Intermediate = computer skills including MS Office and SAP (Tais preferred)

key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for coordinating the department project effort including scheduling, agreement with participants and overseeing testing, documentation, user training reporting on progress and results.
• Coordinates projects as agreed by management including planning, concept development, implementation and documentation, testing and training.
• Represents the department in cross functional projects and coordinates the project needs with affected department members.
• Ensures accounting practices and reporting comply with IFRS principles and BMW AG guidelines.
• Reviews, maintains and monitors the segregation of duties as represented by the system monitoring tool (BizRights APPROVA). Includes negotiating changes and mitigations with departments to maintain acceptable control.
• Develops and maintains Internal Control System (ICS) documentation including evaluating the effectiveness of controls and recommending changes. Coordinates ICS activities with BMW AG.
• Coordinates internal audit responses with departments.
• Assists with coordination of financial audits.

• Plans and/or leads engineering changes and deviations for assembly.
• Develops, evaluates and improves assembly process and process methods
