Volunteers Needed to Supervise Teens Providing Childcare

We would like to compile a list of adults who are willing to be contacted to supervise our teens while they provide childcare during church events. Adding your name to the list will not commit you to any specific event, rather, you will be contacted on a case-by-case basis and can volunteer when it fits in your schedule. Ideally the list of potential volunteers will be long, so that each individual's time commitment will be minimal. If you are willing to add your name to this list of adult supervisors, please email Bridget Neale Paris, bridgetn...@gmail.com. Thank you!

To Garden or Not to Garden?

The garden was mentioned many times during the RE Congregational Conversations as a place for meaningful and valuable learning here at First Parish.  Given the enthusiasm about the garden, it may be a surprise to hear that in the past few years, maintaining our plots in the Hugh Cargill Community garden has been a challenge.  This year, we are faced with having to relinquish the plots if we do not find someone to coordinate its cultivation and care.  If you are interested in coordinating with RE, Social Action and the greater First Parish community to care for one or both of our garden plots, please contact Dawn Van Patten at dvanp...@firstparish.org.  We must inform the garden organizers of our intentions by March 31.

RE Announce Recipients Will Be Added to FP Announce

RE Announce is a great resource for information and events in RE at First Parish but have you ever wondered where you can learn about all the other things happening at First Parish?   FP Announce is the source for all sorts of news and goings-on.  If you do not currently receive FP Announce emails but you are an RE Announce subscriber - you will be added to the list.  If you do not wish to receive the emails, unsubscribing is quick and easy - just look for the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email.
