March is Share the Plate month for Centro Arte Para La Paz (sponsored by IJTF)
Sunday, March 11, is the second Sunday to Share the Plate with Centro de Arte Para La Paz (a matching grant of $3,000 will double the impact of your gifts). Please come to coffee hour to meet Sister Peggy and/or join us in the Emerson Room at 11:30 a.m. to listen Sister Peggy talk about the current environment in El Salvador. Sister Peggy rescued an abandoned convent in the 1990s, after a decade of helping the local population of Suchito to survive the brutal Civil War. She has transformed the convent into a place of peace, hostel, conference center, museum, art gallery, and learning center for dance, plastic arts, so much more. Please join us in welcoming her.
