The Opportunity Fair is this Sunday!
Interested in becoming more involved at First Parish? A church as large as ours offers a wonderfully diverse array of opportunities for engagement, but it can be challenging to figure out what's out there, how much time is involved and how to take the first step. This Sunday, May 19, both coffee hours will be devoted to The Opportunity Fair, offering a chance to learn more about nearly 50 committees, councils, taskforces, affinity and covenant groups at First Parish. Mike Jacobs will discuss options for solar panels on the church
“Solar Rooftops, Now! Why is Massachusetts seeing a boom in solar panel installations? How can First Parish be part of this?”
Mike Jacobs started the First Parish exploration of solar panels on the back roof of the Religious Education wing. He is a member of the First Parish Environmental Leadership Team, and is in his first year
as a solar energy producer at his home in Concord.
