Clarification - WPA Antique Evaluation Event- May 15th
There's some confusion about this event. To be clear: You don't have to submit an item to attend the event. Craig's presentation will be informative in general to attendees whether or not they are submitting an item for evaluation. - So whether or not you have a family favorite or a treasure, join the Women's Parish Association for an exciting event on Tuesday evening, May 15th at 7:00 P.M. at which our ministerial intern, Craig Nowak, will give an evaluation/educational presentation about various antiques owned by First Parish folks. Among his many talents, Craig is an antique expert in many areas. Contact Claudia Nimar as soon as possible at 978-771-8716 or at cni...@aol.com if you would like to have a family treasure evaluated by Craig. The sooner you give Claudia information about your item, the more comprehensive the evaluation can be. Photographs of items can be submitted after discussions with Claudia. Craig does not evaluate stamps, coins, jewelry, firearms or weapons. Desserts, coffee and tea will be served. Entrance fee is five dollars. Reservations are required. Contact Dian Pekin at pek...@comcast.net or the office by May 13th for reservations. All men and women at First Parish and their friends are welcome! Invite your neighbors as well. Even if you don't submit an item for evaluation, this event will be a great educational experience to start your thinking about some of the treasures in your household that you may want to give to family members or charities or sell and be sure that you are asking the right price.
